All our wire rope winches are certified to raise and lower loads, come supplied with CE certification and we can supply spare parts to ensure you will be able to service your lifting equipment for years to come.
Our winches are:-
– Self sustaining and braked, meaning there`s no possibility of accidentally lowering the load unintentionally or the hand wheel spinning out of control.
– Very easy to operate, simply rotate the handle clockwise to raise, anticlockwise to lower if you need to stop at any point just stop turning the handle the internal braking system hold the load for you.
– We can offer many types of mounting types and material finishes depending on your application. Please feel free to call if you need to discuss your requirement with our highly trained sales engineers.
– Capacities from 50kg to 3000kg (3 tonnes)

A winch is a mechanical device that is used to raise or lower / pull in (wind up) or let out (wind out) or otherwise adjust the “tension” of a rope or wire rope (also called “cable” or “wire cable”). In its simplest form it consists of a spool and attached hand crank. The spool can also be called the winch drum. More elaborate designs have gear assemblies and can be powered by electric, hydraulic – please see our Electric Winch section.
